SAVE THE DATE

spread the word nice and early
Announcing the date.

Firstly, Congratulations! If you have found yourself here then we know you have recently had one of the most exciting moments of your life take place. Or perhaps, you were the one who popped the question. Either way, it’s life changing times ahead and we are here for it!

So you’ve found your dream venue, you’ve secured your date with them.  It's happening, you're walking down the aisle and planning the party of all parties. Now it’s time to let your a-list know that their happy smiles and dancing shoes are required to attend.

The options and inclusions

Save the Date in style with one of our fresh designs in your chosen card stock, shape and colours. Find a design that suits your love story, have us do our signature service, print and turnaround and then you simply send with love.

All your save the date cards will come with a blank white envelope which is classified as a standard letter postage stamp at size 162x116mm. The minimum quantity of save the date cards to order is 40. If this is a little more than you think you need, trust us when we say you will always need more.

A save the date is a piece of wedding stationery that can tend to be posted out at different intervals. You might have the first drop of mail-outs for your a-list guests, but as the months go by, there is usually other friends or acquaintances that your partner may decide just has to be on the list, or a certain couple that your parents have decided need to make the cut (yes the wedding guest list can be controversial!)  So having a few spares is always a good thing.

You will be emailed an artwork proof of your design for you to check before it goes to print.

When should the Save the Date be sent?

The save the date card really does set the scene for the big day, create a buzz and excitement with all your family and special friends. You’re about to see that little card on all your besties fridges for at least the next 6-12 months! But can it ever be too early, or too late to send one? Stick by the following rules and you won’t go wrong.

If you have secured a wedding date that is no more than 6 months away, it is our recommendation to skip the save the date and go straight to the wedding invitation. Save your money and put that spend into your invites or signage instead.

If your big day is 6 months to 18 months away, this is the key time period where the save the date is truly most important. If your wedding is 2 years away, and you are just itching to announce the celebration to your guests, we suggest ordering your save the date so it’s ready to send out at the 18 months out mark.

If you are having a destination wedding, there really is no such thing as sending a save the date out too early. Especially in these times, affordable flights and accommodation can be hard to come by so you want to be able to give your guests as much notice as possible. A destination wedding needs at least 1 years notice so make sure you have sent your save the date cards out at least a year in advance.
