Our Order + Design process

how it works5 simple steps to EPIC stationery

1. Browse and Buy

Scroll through our extensive range and do a deep-dive into all the options and colours and fall in-love with your favourite design. Go for one of our pre-package options, or select a singular item, add to cart and checkout along with payment. 

We are always here via email or phone to guide you through the process if it's all a little overwhelming online, or if you'd simply rather connect to our head designer Sarah prior to purchasing. This is absolutely fine and we can quote and send a manual invoice.

Full payment is required online. You can include multiple pieces on your online order and split print your order if you want to order invitation and event-day pieces all together. We will charge a 2nd delivery fee at that time if you do wish to split print your order over a period of months.

2. Send in your wording

Once your order is placed and payment is received, we then need you to email us your wording for your items. There is no template for wording, simply use our examples online as your guide. If you've chosen to have guest personalisation on your stationery we will email you our excel template for names and addresses. We don't need this returned to us just yet. Please focus on the invite/ details card etc... at this stage. 

3. Approve your proof

You can expect your emailed artwork proof within 48 hours of us receiving your wording. Then we are back and forward via email until you approve the layout. Your payment includes 3 rounds of revisions ( don't worry, we usually get the layout right within 1 or 2 rounds). If you decide you want to change the design to another from our range once you have seen your layout, we will charge a re-design fee so please choose your design carefully to avoid any additional design charges. 

Once you do approve your proof, no further changes are permitted without a full re-print fee by the customer as pre-press work begins immediately.

Once approved, if you have selected to have guest personalisation on invites and/ or envelopes then we do require your spreadsheet now. 

4. We send to print

 Nearly there! Printing will take between 2-4 weeks depending on your chosen print type ( digital, white ink, foil, letterpress, signage etc...).

So sit tight and now get onto all those other equally beautiful wedding planning tasks. Now that you have the stationery and signage sorted, all other colours and styling will fall into place. 

5. Delivery to your door

Once your order is complete, we check, count, wrap and package with love and pop it on the daily courier to your specified delivery address on your order.

Then open your box, squeal with delight and post your goodies out to your family & friends. Watch the compliments on your fantastic taste in design and style in stationery come rolling in along with your RSVP's.

 

Invitations Lead-Time
Digital and White Ink printing have the quickest turnaround with a lead-time of about 2.5 weeks from artwork approval to delivery.
Foiling and Letterpress is roughly 4 weeks from artwork approval to delivery.
You need to get in touch with us about 6-7 weeks before you want to post invitations out to your guests so we have plenty of time to design, print, then deliver and you've got time to address ( if you haven't chosen us to do that for you) and stamp etc...
You want to post your invitations to your guests with a minimum of 4 months prior to the big day and if you're having a destination wedding, then as early as 10-12 months out is key. Set your RSVP at a minimum of 6 weeks out to the actual wedding day to allow for any on-the-day stationery requirements.

Reception items + Signage Lead-Time

We do require a minimum of 5 weeks notice for all event day pieces. That includes menus, place cards, coasters, order of service and welcome and seating signage. Please ensure your RSVP date is set at 6 weeks out so you can collate your guest list, assign names to seating plan and email in to us well in advance of our 5 week cut-off so we can create your layouts, approve, print and deliver a week prior to your big day.
Custom acrylic wishing well boxes do require a 3 month lead-time.

Rush Orders

"I need to jump the queue and get my invites in the post... like, yesterday! "
We do offer a rush service with a 35% fee on top of the cost of your order. Please email us here quote for a rush order if time is critical.
