Hire Terms & Conditions
- The ‘Hire Company’ is State of Elliott PTY Ltd..
- The ‘Client’ refers to any individual, couple or company hiring items from the ‘Hire Company’ who has made a rental / hire booking.
- The ‘Item/s' refers to all signage stands, wishing wells, table accessories and any other item from our ‘Hire' shop supplied to the ‘Client'.
CONDITIONS OF HIRE
The customer agrees to have read, understood and acknowledged all terms and conditions and by way of signature and making payment of the hire agreement, agrees to all clauses in this document.
To secure the items for your booking, FULL payment including the mandatory security / damage deposit, needs to be made at the time of booking via our online hire shop. Hiring of the item/s is over a 7 day period and will commence on the available date selected by the client on the online portal and shall be returned to the hire company by the date specified ( 7 days later) by the client.
SHOWROOM COLLECTION AND RETURN TIMES
Our showroom operates on a 'by appointment' basis, therefore you must select the collect/ return window best suited to your needs.
The available appointment booking window is:
Mondays from 10am until 2pm
Wednesdays from 10am until 2pm
Thursdays from 10am until 2pm
The showroom is located at:

The client may cancel an order at anytime, but acknowledges they will forfeit the hire fee payment already made to the hire company due to limited availability on our items's. However, the security bond will be reimbursed immediately upon cancellation of an order.
Cancellation of a booking due to weather, or any situation out of the control of the hire company, shall still be subject to the cancellation policy above. The hire company is in no way responsible for weather or client's personal situation that may cause the client to cancel their event or booking.
Every item in our hire shop does require a security /damage deposit to be paid by the client and held by the hire company which will be returned when the safe return of all items in the same condition as were hired out to the client and within the booking period allocated.
All bonds will return to the client minus any fee incurred either due to late fee/extension fee and breakage/damage fee.
The amount of bond held will be $200 for all bookings.
Any unreturned or unusable items will be charged to the client at a full replacement cost.
LATE RETURN FEES
A return fee of $50 per day will be charged where the client does not return the item/s by the due date, outlined in the order booking.
DAMAGE, LOST, STOLEN OR UN-RETURNED ITEMS
Once an item is picked up from our showroom, the client has full responsibility of all/ any item hired until it is returned to our showroom. 3rd party pick-ups and returns via Uber, courier or taxi are not permtted.
The client shall protect the hire item/s from the elements during the time of hire. In poor weather conditions storage of the hire item/s may be necessary and is the responsibility of the client to see that the item/s are stored safely. Any item damaged from weather is the full responsibility of the client and shall be paid at full replacement cost to the hire company.
Any items collected and returned by the client shall be delivered back to to the hire company in a clean and well maintained condition. Should an item become damaged while in the possession of the client, it is the client's responsibility to notify the hire company immediately after the event should the item not be in a satisfactory condition. It is then at the hire companies discretion to charge the replacement fee which is outlined on every hire agreement specific to each item.
The client consents to allow the hire company to use any images shown on social media that displays the creative use of the item/s hired while at the clients event. The hire company will endeavour to credit any photographers and other suppliers involved.
Once item's are picked up, the client assumes all responsibilities and liabilities relating to the agreed item/s while in their possession until they have been received back by the hire company.
The hire company shall in no way be held responsible or accountable for any injury, death or loss of income caused to the client, guests, staff at event venues or any third parties or properties due to the hire item/s provided by the hire company.
